Missed a Day? How to Catch Up on Past Musicle Puzzles

Most daily puzzle games have the same catch: miss a day and that puzzle is just gone, unless the site happens to keep an archive around. People search for "wordle archive" and "yesterday's connections answer" constantly for exactly this reason. Musicle handles it a little differently, and it's worth knowing how before you go looking for a calendar you won't find.
There's no date picker, and that's on purpose
Musicle doesn't have a public archive page where you browse a calendar and click on, say, last Tuesday's puzzle specifically. What it has instead is a "Play Random" option, available once you've finished the day's official challenge, that pulls a genuine puzzle from a past date at random. You don't get to choose which day. You get a real, previously-published challenge you haven't necessarily seen before, which keeps the bonus round feeling like an actual puzzle instead of something you already half-remember the answer to.
Why not just build a normal archive
The honest reason is that a browsable archive changes the incentives of the whole format. Part of what makes a daily puzzle feel worth showing up for is scarcity, one puzzle, one shot, gone by tomorrow. A full calendar of every past challenge turns that into more of a library you dip into whenever, which isn't necessarily worse, but it's a different product with a different rhythm. Musicle keeping the archive random rather than browsable is a deliberate way of preserving the "one puzzle right now" feeling while still giving you a way to play more than once a day if you want to.
If you're trying to catch up specifically
If your actual goal is just "I missed yesterday and I want to know what it was," Random won't guarantee that exact day. What it will do is give you a genuinely fresh past puzzle to solve, which for most people ends up being a reasonable trade: you don't get closure on the specific day you missed, but you get more Musicle instead of none.
